About the Examples
This chapter provides examples of components that can be used together. You can adapt
these examples to your own projects.
Creating Printer-Friendly Contribution Documents
This example shows you how to create a printer-friendly version of a contribution
document that does not include things such as navigation buttons, ads, and so on from
the main web page.
The example is based on the Sample Site project template, and uses the following
components:

Select
To create a printer-friendly contribution document:

Create a project based on the Sample Site by selecting
New Project
on the Login
Options window and choosing
Sample site
as the sample site to import.

Log in to the new project, and select
Metadata
from the Project | Asset Type Setup
view.

Click the
New
button. The New Project Metadata Definition dialog box appears.

Enter
PrintVersion
in the
Metadata Name
field and select
Boolean
from the
Type
field.

Click
OK
.

Select
Asset Types
.

Locate the asset type called
Press Release
and click it to edit the metadata attached
to this asset type.

Click the
Add
button and select
PrintVersion
from the
Metadata name
list.

Click
OK
. The metadata definition is created. Click
OK
and then click
Close
.

Navigate to the Project | Contribution Setup view and navigate to the Document
Types | Press Release container.
