Layout Contribution Field Example
The code example below includes a Layout Contribution Field component for a field called
Title. The text in the contribution field is simply formatted, with a font size, face, and
color:

<P><FONT face="Arial" color=black>Serena today announced the release of
a new version of Collage.</FONT></P>
If a content contributor creates a contribution asset and enters the following text in the
Title field:
Serena Releases New Version of Collage
The text will appear as follows when it is deployed to a web server:
Layout Contribution Metadata
Use the Layout Contribution Metadata component to insert and display particular
metadata values in contribution document. When a contribution document that uses a
layout file that includes the Layout Contribution Metadata component is previewed,
edited, or deployed, Collage replaces the component with the metadata field's value.
Content contributors can then edit the values directly in the contribution editing view, and
the deployed version of the contribution assets will display the current value.
For example, if all content contributors are required to complete a metadata field called
"author" when they create Press Release contribution documents, you can set up the
Press Release layout file to allow contributors to enter their names directly on the page
when they edit press releases. When the press releases are deployed, the author's name
will be displayed as the contributor entered it.
