34 Managing the Server
Viewing the server log file
This panel displays the trace messages being recorded in the server log file. The log messages
report errors as well as normal operations.
The server administrator can use the Find box on the bottom margin of the pane to search for
partial strings in the log messages. Clicking the Clear Log button clears the screen.
Logging client connections and other
system events
Flash Media Server 2 provides a logging functionality that allows the server to record
information about client connections and other system events. The following sections
describe the sections in the Logger.xml configuration files.
